15 and 16 January 2013

The start of a new Semester and a new year, 2013. I think the start of a new year means we need to have a new motivation for example I want to play music beter than last year.

On 15th We discuss what assessment we are going to have this semester. The first one was to sing the Russian Song. The class choose either Katyusha the old Russian song it's about a girl singing about the Nature. Dark Eyes is about the beauty of a girl eyes. The theme of the song is kind of weird afterall Russians are weird. But they made good melody, it was hard for us to sing so Mr John decided that we sing only one phrase the first.


The video is about me trying to play a new song. As you can see it was a mess, I'm going to practice more so that I could play it well before February.

27-29 November

This week we are going to have our notation test, it was supposed to be done last week but we bargain and we are allow to do it now. I am happy though. But I don't remember all the point I need to finish the test. Mr John gave us some clue to do it so I hope I can get a good score.

Today we practiced our instrument test. We practiced hard because next week parents are going to visit us while we play our instrument.

Thursday, we revised what we have done on the test. What mistake we have made during the test. I don't remember how many mistakes I did. Luckily I made only 3/4/5 I forgot -_-

20,21,22 November

This week we were having fun, although we are going to have an analysis written test on Wednesday, the topic is Broadway Music, I think I was ready. But after then I saw the "pre-test" and everybody was confuse with that because it's hard. Well, after you read the text few times it wasn't that hard. But it's really confusing.

Good news that Mr. John postponed it into Thursday so I have more time to study but, I'm just confused on what to study. We learn dynamics,  legato, slurs, Pizzicato, fortissimo, Staccato. I was confuse but I get it. "Finally" LOL

In instrument class, we play pur song as usual. I am now the two grenadiers, I'm getting better at this except for power. Anyway next week I'm going to play again and move to next number (I hope).

Video Week 3 (12-16 nov)

13,14,15 November 2012

This week is the week that we submit our ABACA rondo!
It's fun for me to make a melody, especially after you put it into FINALE. In FINALE we can listen to the melody we have made, after you put A into FINALE you ca listen if there's a mistake. When I make the draft in paper, I didn't know there was some awful and a bit mistake. I make it better by listening to it over and over again.

We also need to add at least one chord in every Bar. Riady helped me because I was confuse then I add some more at home. I did not bad though. I can't print it because it's not in PDF, and then Nigel offered everyone who uses a maca, he convert all of it into PDF although he change my subtitle into Feat. Wiz Khalifa LOL :). it's really funny. He also help me with my chord because I miss some chord and some were wrong.

Instrument class goes as usual on Tuesday although I was still continuing with my Rondo, so I only play a bit, i'm still playing The Two Grenadiers.. The song's really fun. I love to play it. And now I have officially started to play 3rd position oh yeah!
