Video Week 3 (12-16 nov)

13,14,15 November 2012

This week is the week that we submit our ABACA rondo!
It's fun for me to make a melody, especially after you put it into FINALE. In FINALE we can listen to the melody we have made, after you put A into FINALE you ca listen if there's a mistake. When I make the draft in paper, I didn't know there was some awful and a bit mistake. I make it better by listening to it over and over again.

We also need to add at least one chord in every Bar. Riady helped me because I was confuse then I add some more at home. I did not bad though. I can't print it because it's not in PDF, and then Nigel offered everyone who uses a maca, he convert all of it into PDF although he change my subtitle into Feat. Wiz Khalifa LOL :). it's really funny. He also help me with my chord because I miss some chord and some were wrong.

Instrument class goes as usual on Tuesday although I was still continuing with my Rondo, so I only play a bit, i'm still playing The Two Grenadiers.. The song's really fun. I love to play it. And now I have officially started to play 3rd position oh yeah!

6,7,8

This week was the fun week for us, because it's the week where we play our song in front of classmates. We practice hard on Tuesday because we wanted to get a good score on our Singing Assessment. And as for the others there were some that haven't prepared for the song, they will practice on their own tonight and I think that it's okay for them but for us we are ready.
On Wednesday we are ready and we practice for a while, then we have our singing assessment... I think we did very well. On Thursday as well there were some guys such as Matthew, or the girls they haven't had their assessment. They did their assessment well too, I think everybody will get a good score.

No instrument class because we were practicing our assessment.

30, 31 December and 1 November

This was our first meeting of Term 2. It's been a week for us in Music Class I think that this term 2 could be more fun than term 1. To continue, Mr. Herry told us about our upcoming assessment which will be next week on the Thursday and it's a singing assessment.

It's a broadway singing assessment and I was scared because the only Broadway I knew was sound of Music or Lion King, and both of them have hard song to be sing. I didn't found any song on Tuesday.
The next assessment was to make a rondo which is a musical form with a recurring leading theme, often found in the final movement of a sonata or concerto. It's basically an ABACA. We start making A at class. And we need to make B at home.Mr. Herry told me that I did well for my work, and he wrote some changes in my notes just to make sure I can get it right.

For instrument class we play our instrument like usual. I move to the next song, suzuki book 2 number 7 which was the song nigel played for his instrument test last time.

Oh yeah, Mr Herry was in charge that time because Mr John was absent for a day.
